L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer

This is another great product. I use this for highlighting and sculpting certain areas of my face.  It is liquidy so be prepared. You can wear this under or mix with your foundation to give a soft light illusion. I do not recommend that you wear it under your foundation if you have large pores.  Throughout the day it can draw more attention to those large pores.  If you have large pores just use this product to highlight areas such as cheek bones or the bridge of the nose. It reminds me a bit of the look you get when using a shimmer after applying airbrushed makeup. I like this product because it is lightweight and does not feel greasy.

Lip Plumpers?

I just received this product and used just two times. I absolutely do not like this product. It claims to be a lip plumper and it does nothing at all.  As you can see in the picture the box says “Plump, pink, pouty lips in a shade that’s all your own”. One true  part of the statement is that it is pink. Oh my goodness it turns your lips pink but it is not a pretty natural pink. It is a pink that looks like you were eating a popsicle or a sucker that stained your lips. Not my thing! It does give a bit of a wet look when you first put it on but then that pink is there and well it is just not pretty. Again, there was no plumping going on at all! What a disappointment. I bought this at Sally’s Beauty Supply and I saved a little because I have a beauty club card. I paid $4.99 plus tax for this worthless product. I do not recommend this product.

Now I will move on to a product that does actually plump the lips. I really like this product. It is a little extreme but that’s what it claims. This is actually a clear  plumper and it does give a nice wet look. It also has a relaxing smell of cinnamon to it. You will feel some tingling and again it is extreme! Notice I said extreme again. Ha! Ha! So if you are looking for truly plump lips this is your product. This product has been around since (I think) 2007. You can still find it at your local drugstore for about $8. I also found it here http://www.amazon.com/Sally-Hansen-Inflation-Extreme-Clear/dp/B000BTARMQ/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341001862&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=sally+hansen+extreme+infusion+lip+plumper for &6.37 and with free super saver shipping on orders over $25. I have it in my shopping cart right now since mine is almost gone. The one pictured below and in the link I provided does say that there is a slight tint. Since I am a huge amazon.com shopper this works well for me. This is a must try! Who says having plump lips involves surgery. Ha! Ha!

Illegal Length Mascara (maybelline)

I love, love, love, this mascara. It seems to extend my lashes dramatically. You do not have to do anything special with this mascara only apply it. I don’t use any other sealers, primers, etc. with it at all. I don’t recommend putting on more than one coat and besides, it’s not necessary with this product. This mascara also does not flake. Another reason I love it! It is still going strong after months and months of use. Great product and it is so worth the price. I got this product at my local Walgreens for $8.99

Hard Candy Outrageously Delicious Flavored Body Powder

I’ve actually used and enjoyed  this product for some time. It last forever.  I really like it. It puts a great glittery sparkle on the skin and taste like honey. I have not seen it in stores for ages but I was able to find it on it on eBay for $9.97. So if you are a glitter girl this is a fun must have.

I am not paid for my reviews. Just sharing products that I use and like.

In the Shading

At the Moment

arms open widely

pulled in

partly quivering lips

words have no meaning here

beads of sweat

snailing down, from the brow

could see your soul

through the glassy glaze

melted together

now joined

disappearing in the shading

as if to have never been.
